its been a while since i wrote something here…

a lots been going on.  taylor was sick for about a week - first time - it was sad seeing her feeling so bad.

i started going to curves May 1.  on June 1 i weighed and they measured me. i think they’ll do that once a month. coulda been better. i lost 1 pound, 4.5 inches, 1.7% body fat. 

this week at work as been very stressful. too much to do. i got the leaflets all done for 2 weeks and had to redo the rite 2 ones, cause the eucharistic prayer changed. then i had to redo another cause theres a baptism.  i wish they would remember to tell me stuff!

been a lot of changes at nabcg.  its not what i wanted or expected.  but it’ll be ok. it’ll be pretty fun working with richie. 

lol he played a joke on me yesterday at work - the worst day at work in a while.

i get a call… its some homeless crazy sounding person asking if i was the one that said at the front desk.  i say yes.  he says he was over here and joe porter was showing him the window… and he made a pass at him.  i was thinking omg you are really crazy, you can’t be for real. so i put him on hold and i’m cracking up. julie is standing there so i put it on speaker phone.. and richie says something about it being my friend from new york… so that did brighten my day a bit cause i’d been so bummed out with the work stuff..

anyway, i guess thats all for now.  thanks for reading if you are

i was reading in the paper today:  ADHD drug safety probed…
An estimated 4.8 million take them
Nearly 1 in 5 patients admiited to the hospital and 1 in 7 had cardiac symtoms.

regarding a “Black Box” warning:
heads of two psychiatric groups expressed concern a black box warning would discourage use of ADHD drugs, raising risks of academic failure and substance abuse?

so they think ADHD drugs prevent substance abuse?  last I heard ADHD drugs were abused pretty badly.

mothers day was pretty cool.  hal weedeated the back yard and trimmed the bushes in front - just what i wanted for mothers day!

then we went to india palace to eat lunch.. hal lauren taylor and me… look at the pictures - lucy.cx/photos.

then i went to my mom’s and hal lauren and taylor went to lauren’s mom’s.

when i got home from primary purpose i watched my tv shows - desperate housewives and grey’s anatomy. i’m sure gonna miss those shows til the fall!

i’ve been crying for half of grey’s anatomy tonight! 

i cant believe prison break ended the season with them running across a field!

gonna watch big love a little later…

everythings going ok i guess.  had a rough day earlier in the week, trying to make some changes and we’ll see what happens.

this weekend - trying to decide whether to go to a funeral.  i feel obligated.  But don’t really want to go.

Also going to eat lunch with someone.

giving a couple girls a ride to a meeting tomorrow night.  i usually dont mind doing that.  i dont want to do it every meeting i go to, but occasionaly is fine.

since sunday is mother’s day, i should go to tunica.

i hate it when people send emails and put what they want to say in the subject and nothing in the body.

it annoys me greatly to open the email and nothing is there!

well i redesigned the website.

in the process i wanted to change the coppermine photo theme and i get this error

if anyone knows how to fix that let me know please!

Mexico legalizes narcotics.

its now legal to possess small amounts of pot, ecstasy, cocaine, heroin, opium, LSD, peyote, amphetamines, dexamphetamines, psp, methamphetamines for personal use.

 currently their law leaves open the possibility of dropping charges against people caught with drugs if they are considered addicts and if the amount is the quantity necessary for personal use.  that would make some people call themselves addicts even if they aren’t!

wonder how many americans move to mexico cause they can use drugs without fear of going to jail?  actually maybe none.  fear never stopped me back in my using days, or anyone else i know.

great day, but a relief its over.

my staff evaluation was today. 3rd one in like 20 years. the other 2 were really unpleasant.  today was great. 

also my piano students recital was tonight. they all did excellent. i was so pleased the ones i was most worried about played great!

the last few days have sucked so bad…

first i was reading about the illegal immigrant crackdown - 49 arrested in memphis and horn lake.  i dont mind immigrants, but illegal ones i do… can’t they take the time to get a work permit or green card?

then i was reading a website freeicer.com.  not very often someone i know from irc gets arrested - well actually maybe there are others i just don’t often hear about it like this…. i’ll refrain from comments - don’t wan to get iCER pissed at me and attack me

also yay for the drug sting that nets 26 from millington high school.  its good to know the cops are doing something besides waiting to get me for speeding!

more good news - a friend from irc i’ve known for 7 or so years has a new white keytag
